The official opening was the culmination of work that began more than ten years ago. NCAT’s vision was to provide state of the art Technology facilities and quality courses to attract young people to areas of skills shortages that would meet regional training needs. The NCAT Trade Training Centre is the final stage in this journey. Having already invested $5 million in our original Technology facilities, the additional $12 million centre will provide young people with the most extensive, state of the art Trades and Technology facilities in a Victorian school and provide training in a broad range of traditional and emerging trades and technologies.

NCAT offers Technology  training in the following areas: Automotive Technology, Building & Construction, Electrotechnology, Engineering, Furniture Making, Integrated Technologies, Manufacturing Technology, Musical Instrument Making & Repair, Plumbing, Product Design & Technology (Wood / Metal) and Systems Engineering

The College will also hold a Community Open Day on Saturday August 25th where people of all ages can tour the new facilities and enjoy some hands on demonstrations and entertainment.
