Victorian Solar Power Station Stays in Local Hands

Plans to build one of the world’s largest solar power plants in Victoria have resumed.
The Premier John Brumby and Energy Minister Peter Batchelor visited the Abbotsford manufacturing site to welcome news that Silex System’s had taken ownership of Solar Systems’ world-first solar power plant technologies and would continue developing the technology in Victoria. “We are committed to ensuring Victoria remains at the forefront of the emerging renewable energy technologies,” Mr Brumby said.
