     Title: Union Building to Add Solar “Skin”

The Electrical Trades Union is planning a radical refurbishment of its Swanston Street premises, hoping to turn the building into a source of renewable energy.

The blue, three-level concrete building at the corner of Swanston and Queensberry Streets would be completely covered in a “skin” of moving solar panels and solar-sensitive film under the yet to be approved proposal.
