Licensing

In Australia, electrical is a licensed trade. This means that individuals must receive a licence from Energy Safe Victoria (ESV) to work in Victoria. There are a number of types of licenses available from ESV - for the full listing, visit the ESV website.

Please note, EPIC ITB does not issue licenses, but conducts assessments which enable electricians to apply for their licenses from ESV. To obtain an initial license, you need to undertake the Licensed Electrical Assessment (LEA).
